1. Disposition rejecting each of the information disclosure set forth in the [Attachment 1] Nos. 2 through 6 to the Plaintiff by the President of the Presidential Secretariat.

1. Basic facts

A. On April 16, 2014, in relation to the Sewol ferry accident, the Plaintiff requested the head of the Defendant Presidential Secretariat to disclose the information listed in the [Attachment 1] No. 1 to the head of the Defendant National Security Office on August 18, 2014. (ii) The head of the Defendant Presidential Secretariat requested the head of the Defendant National Security Office to disclose the information listed in the [Attachment 1] No. 1 to the head of the Defendant National Security Office respectively. (ii) The records pertaining to the Sewol ferry accident were created between the President and the presidential support agency, and are strictly protected as the Presidential records created between the President and the presidential support agency. Since the records pertaining to the pending trial or investigation, institution and maintenance of prosecution are related to the confidential information, it is likely to significantly impede the performance of his/her duties if disclosed. As such, it is likely to seriously interfere with the fair performance of duties if disclosed due to the content in the decision-making process or internal review process, and if disclosed, it is likely to infringe on the privacy or freedom of private life.

(B) On April 16, 2014, the Plaintiff requested the head of the Defendant’s Office of National Security to disclose the information listed in the attached Table 1 No. 2, 2014, i.e., the information listed in the attached Table 2, ii) the Defendant’s Chief of the Defendant’s Office of National Security to the head of the Defendant’s Office of Security, iii) the information listed in the attached Table 2, 1, 2014, and 3) the Defendant’s Chief of the Office of National Security to disclose the information listed in the attached Table No. 2, 1, 2014.
