Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 20,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who correctly predicted the result by issuing sports betting tickets or similar things, and no person shall do so using such prohibited acts.

Nevertheless, on July 21, 2018, the Defendant visited “B” the Internet illegal sports soil site at an irregular place, and deposited KRW 220,000 in the D Association account (E) in the name of the said website operator, charged with the corresponding game money, and then opened the money in advance by predicting the result of various overseas and domestic sports games in accordance with the method provided on the said website, and putting up the game money in a way of determining the winning price by means of a re-exchange, such as receiving cyber money in accordance with the dividend rate and exchanging it again, from that time to January 31, 2019, the Defendant deposited KRW 238,126,070,000 in total over 238 times as shown in the attached list of crimes.
