Reasons
Punishment of the crime
1. The Defendant A, as a representative of K and L, has overall control over the overall duties of the Company as the corporation for the purpose of the V and the manufacture and sale of Vs in Kimhae-si J. The Defendant B, from July 1, 2004 to October 31, 2010, was in charge of quality assurance duties related to the supply of nuclear power plants while serving as the director of the said company. Defendant C, from March 2, 2007 to March 31, 2010, was in charge of quality assurance duties while serving as the deputy head of the said company.
Korean hydroelectric Energy Co., Ltd. separates the grades of parts used in a nuclear power plant, and classifys them into safety grades ( Qclass), safety-related structures, systems, and equipment, which are items not likely to cause direct or indirect interference to the general public in the event of a breakdown or defect, but are classified into safety impact grades (A), Q, and general industry grades (S class), which are items not classified into classes A, Q, and A, which are items not likely to cause suspension of power generation, and requires Q and Class A products to submit quality assurance documents at the time of their delivery through a purchase contract and purchase specifications used by a nuclear power plant.
K and M N, O, P, and Q Co., Ltd. are parts of the product manufactured and supplied to nuclear power plants by each of the above companies, which may cause direct and significant risks to public health and safety if any of the above defects occurs. When the above parts are supplied, the above parts shall be thoroughly conducted to analyze the materials and chemical components of the above product, and a report on the component analysis prepared thereby shall be submitted to the Korea Telecommunication and Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. through each of the above companies.
