Punishment of the crime

At Jeju, the Defendant is a business owner who runs a construction business by employing five full-time workers as the representative of D Co., Ltd. located in C’s underground building B.

1. An employer who violates the Labor Standards Act due to non-payment of wages shall, if the worker dies or retires, pay the wages, compensations, or any other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred;

Nevertheless, on December 24, 2016, the Defendant dismissed E from the above workplace as of December 26, 2016, on the grounds that the representative director and other employees of the foregoing workplace have expressed obscene video circulation and a meeting room, and did not pay more than 30-day ordinary wages.
