Article 208(3)1 of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings (Judgment without Oral Proceedings) provides that statutory interest rates under the main sentence of Article 3(1) of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings were promulgated on September 25, 2015 and enforced on October 1, 2015, and Article 2(2) of the Addenda to the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings (Presidential Decree No. 2653) provides that “The statutory interest rate for cases in which the first instance trial is pending in the court at the time this Decree enters into force shall be the interest rate under the former provisions until September 30, 2015; from October 1, 2015 to October 21, 2015, only the amount exceeding the interest rate under the amended provisions of this Decree shall be 10% from the day following the delivery of a copy of the complaint of this case to the day of complete payment; and only the amount shall be 10% from October 215 to 215, 15, respectively.
