B On May 17, 2004, the Incheon District Court issued a summary order of KRW 5 million for a violation of the Act on the Exercise of Sovereign Rights on Foreign Fishing, etc. in Exclusive Economic Area; on January 3, 2007, the same court issued a summary order of KRW 10 million for a violation of the Territorial Sea and Contiguous Zone Act; on May 22, 2008, the same court was sentenced to a fine of KRW 12 million for the same crime.

A, China, rather than China, is a captain in charge of the operation and fishery activities of low-speed fishing vessels E (70 tons leveled vessels, hereinafter “the above vessels”) and low-speed fishing vessels (70 tons leveled vessels”). Defendant B, as China, is an engineer in charge of the duties of assisting the captain, assisting the captain of the above vessels, helping the steering of the vessel, and guiding the steering net of the fishing gear. Defendant C, as China, is an engineer in charge of the duties of assisting the captain of the above vessel so that the vessel is sailing safely and facilitate fishing activities, managing engine engines and oil, operating the vessel’s engine smoothly.

No foreigner shall conduct fishery activities in a specific prohibited zone designated for the purpose of protecting fishery resources or coordinating fisheries, among exclusive economic zones.
