Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,500,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to divert a mountainous district shall obtain permission from the competent authority according to the classification of the types, areas, etc. of the mountainous district prescribed by Presidential Decree by determining its use.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not obtain permission to convert the mountainous district of the number of reinforced military units, and changed the form and quality of the forest land by filling the 778 square meters of the forest land into the ditch by using equipment, such as softs and dump trucks, in order to create a housing site that he/she will reside, the Defendant changed the form and quality of the forest land by cutting the 78 square meters of the forest land into the ditch with the soil, without permission to convert the mountainous district of the number of reinforced military units.

As a result, the Defendant converted the use of mountainous districts without obtaining permission to convert mountainous districts.
