Defendant
A shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for eight months and by imprisonment for four months.
However, this judgment is delivered to Defendant A.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
No one shall engage in speculative activities using speculative gaming machines as a business, and exchange the results of tangible or intangible outcomes obtained through the use of game products.
Nevertheless, from August 2018 to March 5, 2019, the Defendants installed 24 slot machine, a speculative machine, which was not classified as a class, at the first floor of Dongjak-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, and provided coins per 100 won to unspecified customers.
Afterwards, the game was operated by making customers operate the game machine and play the game in such a way as to cause property profits or losses according to the numerical arrangement on the screen of the game machine, and the customer was operated by converting the remainder excluding the 20% of the co-owner acquired due to a friendly result into 100 won per unit.
As a result, the Defendants conspired to do speculative acts using speculative gaming machines, and exchanged the type of results obtained through the use of game products.
