A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On August 7, 2008, the Defendant was issued a summary order of KRW 500,000 by the Suwon District Court for a crime of violation of the Road Traffic Act, and on July 1, 2014, the Defendant was issued a summary order of KRW 2 million for a crime of violation of the Road Traffic Act at the Ansan District Court.

In such cases, a person engaged in driving of a motor vehicle has a duty of care to inform the direction of the change of the vehicle line by direction, etc. in advance and to change the lane safely by keeping the front and rear left well.

Nevertheless, the defendant neglected this and entered as a single-lane, and caused the victim D(the age of 47) driving in the same direction to contact the front part of the driver's driver's vehicle on the left side of the driver's vehicle of the defendant, while the victim tried to avoid a collision, and caused the victim to go against the center separation stife in the left side of the taxi.

Ultimately, the Defendant’s negligence on the part of the above business is about KRW 1,085,628 of the cost of repairing the taxi owned by the victim (excluding value-added tax).
