1. The defendant shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand won;

2. Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a person driving a BM5 vehicle volume.

On October 10, 2016, the Defendant driven the above vehicle at around 23:40 on October 23, 2016, and proceeded the private distance from the outer airport of the Cheongju-dong at the Cheongju-si to the open air, and the signal was installed at the intersection where the signal was installed.

The location is a road on which a red-off signal, etc. is installed at the front.

In such cases, a person engaged in driving of a motor vehicle shall temporarily stop at the intersection with a red on-and-off signal before entering the intersection, and when another motor vehicle intends to enter the intersection from a road with a wide width, he/she has the duty of care to yield the course to prevent the accident in advance.

Nevertheless, the Defendant neglected to do so and went through the intersection as it is, and the victim C (55) driving on the left-hand side from the right-hand side of the direction of the Defendant’s proceeding to the left-hand side, was driven by the victim C(55).

Ultimately, the Defendant suffered injury to the Victim C and the Victim E (M, 54) who is the passenger of the victimized vehicle due to such occupational negligence, respectively, for about two weeks of medical treatment.
