A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On October 31, 2001, the defendant left the United States without obtaining permission for overseas travel before being transferred to the first citizen service, and thus, the defendant stayed abroad without obtaining permission for overseas travel or extension of the period from the Commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration until January 15, 2004, when he turns 18 years of age.
