Punishment of the crime
[In fact, Defendant D is in office, Defendant A is the child of Defendant D, Defendant B is another child of Defendant D, and Defendant C is the wife of Defendant C, who is the other child of Defendant D (Suspension of Prosecution on the same day).
The Defendants subscribed to various insurance companies for disease and accident insurance, with regard to the fact that they can easily be hospitalized even though they are minor injuries or diseases to be treated in a hospital, and receive a large amount of insurance money by spreading and hospitalized various hospitals which do not properly perform patient management.
[Criminal facts]
1. The Defendant subscribed to a disease and accident insurance with respect to various insurance companies such as the victim correctional life insurance company, etc., and the following facts were attempted to acquire insurance money by means of spreading multiple hospitals with sufficient minor injuries or diseases solely with the pain treatment only.
Accordingly, on June 3, 2008, the Defendant visited M Hospital located in Seojin-gu L in Jeonjin-gu, Seoul, and received hospital treatment for 28 days until June 30, 2008, and on July 1, 2008, after receiving a claim for insurance money from the victim TI insurance company, and received a total of 3 million won, including receiving KRW 1.5 million from Green CI insurance products, from around that time to September 4, 2013, the Defendant received KRW 71,737,595 in total from each insurance company after being hospitalized for 699 days and being hospitalized for 69 days from each insurance company.
Accordingly, the defendant deceivings victims to take the property by deceiving them.
2. The Defendant, in collusion with N (Suspension of Prosecution on the same day) who purchased a disease and accident insurance policy with respect to multiple insurance companies, including the victim prison life insurance company, etc. in one’s own and N name, and the following facts are covered by insurance money by the method of spreading multiple hospitals with sufficient minor injuries or diseases solely with pain treatment.
