The punishment of the accused shall be eight months by imprisonment.

However, the above sentence shall be executed for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Any person who intends to engage in foreign exchange business shall prepare capital, facilities and professional human resources sufficient to engage in foreign exchange business and register such business with the Minister of Strategy and Finance in advance, and shall not engage in foreign exchange business without registration, as prescribed by the relevant Acts and subordinate statutes.

The Defendant, without registering with the Minister of Strategy and Finance from April 9, 2018 to October 27 of the same year, received USD 6,158,411,100 in total from customers who wish to transfer to Makao over a total of 432 occasions as indicated in the attached Table of Crimes (1-1) from customers who wish to transfer to Makao in Korea, at the same place from April 10, 2018 to November 15, 2018, paid to customers of Hong Kong equivalent to the remainder after deducting the fee. The Defendant, as described in the attached Table of Crimes (1-2), received USD 5,957,151,200 in total from customers who want to transfer from Maka to Korea over a total of 262 times in total, as stated in the attached Table of Crimes (1-2).

The Defendant, without being registered with the Minister of Strategy and Finance from August 20, 2018 to August 23, 2011 of the same year, received USD 1,187,80,000 in total from customers who wish to transfer to Makao throughout a total of 66 times as indicated in the attached Table of Crimes (2-1), from customers who want to transfer from Makao to Makao in Korea, and paid to customers of Hong Kong equivalent to the remainder after deducting the fee. From August 21, 2018 to November 23, 2018, the Defendant received USD 47 as listed in the attached Table of Crimes (2-2) from customers who want to transfer from Makao to Korea on 47 occasions in the same place as indicated in the attached Table of Crimes (2-2).
