A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

[Attachment] On September 2018, the Defendant recruited “IJ” in order to operate the said illegal gambling site, including (i) investment in the site of “IJ”; (ii) investment in the site of “I”; (iii) the management of human resources and fund management in the domestic site of “IJ”; (iv) one-time director (domestic team leader); (iv) the head of “IJ”, “G”, and “IJ” and “IJ”, by leasing an office and accommodation in the Switzerland Manara; and (iv) the head of the Gu, who is in charge of operating and managing the office and accommodation in the Republic of Korea; and (iv) the head of the Gu, “D director” and “IJ” will act as a general manager of the operation of the said illegal gambling site, such as the operation and management of the office and the settlement of profits; and (v) the head of the Gu, “F” will act as a member of the Switzerland, and (v) the head of the Gu, who is in charge of contact with the head of the Ma, and customer.

[Criminal facts] A person who is not an entrusted business entity or a national sports promotion corporation of the Seoul Olympic Games or a person who is not an entrusted business entity shall not engage in an act of providing property or property benefits to persons who win at the same time by issuing sports promotion voting rights or similar things, or establish a space for gambling for profit.

Nevertheless, Defendant 1, along with the aforementioned “D Director”, opened “I (J)” at an office in the Republic of Korea from Sep. 2018 to Apr. 2019, which is the above gambling site, in the first place, from Sep. 1, 2018 to Apr. 1, 2019, and received money from many unspecified members, such as L, to 25 accounts, such as a new bank account in the name of L, etc., and granted a considerable amount of money to the members, and then let the members of the Committee participate in sports games, such as various domestic and foreign sports games, etc.
