1. The defendant A shall be punished by imprisonment for one year;

Seized evidence Nos. 9 through 15 shall be confiscated by Defendant A.

Punishment of the crime

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation and an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who win the results of sports promotion by issuing sports promotion voting rights or a similar things.

H established the “I” website, which is a sports gambling site, and established an office in China, and takes charge of overall control over the operation and fund management of the gambling site. Defendant A takes charge of withdrawing the proceeds of the gambling site, withdrawing the entry and departure of money, mobile phones, and providing chips, etc. Defendant B takes charge of the public relations office’s publicity and membership recruitment, and Defendant C and Defendant D takes charge of taking charge of overall control over the public relations of the gambling site and the recruitment of members while working at the domestic public relations office. Defendant C and Defendant D play a role of forecasting NAL and “M” and preparing comments on the reception of sports sports games.

A and Defendant B: (a) from February 2017 to January 9, 2018; (b) from July 2017 to January 9, 2018; (c) from around July 2017 to around January 9, 2018, Defendant D operated gambling sites with and from September 2017 to January 9, 2018; (d) recruited members by publicizing gambling sites via the Internet while operating gambling sites; (e) charged members with gambling money by receiving money by using 14 borrowed accounts from the recruited members; and (e) allowed members to visit the said gambling sites to play in the Republic of Korea and abroad; and (e) cause members to play sports games, such as cattle, campings, and farming clubs, to predict the operating method of sports (i.e., e., 5,000 to 1,00,000 won, and to predict the operating method of sports games in Korea and abroad (i.e., member sports games).
