Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 5,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No one shall knowingly receive personal information collected in the course of performing his/her duties for profit or for an illegal purpose.

On September 14, 2013, the Defendant posted a letter on the Internet “C” website to the effect that D sells personal information of the title “E”, and had the intent to purchase personal information for the purpose of advertising the officetel sales business it operated.

The Defendant agreed to pay the price to D and receive personal information. At that time, the Defendant transferred KRW 50,00 to the new bank account (H) in the name of F, the Defendant’s spouse, from the e-mail (I) in the above name of D, and received 280,925 personal information containing the name, cell phone number, etc. as shown in the attached list of crimes, as shown in the attached list of crimes, by the e-mail (J) in the above name of the Defendant.

As a result, the Defendant received personal information collected in the course of business for profit or for an illegal purpose.
