1. The Defendant: (a) KRW 39,00,000 for the Plaintiff and KRW 20% per annum from August 12, 2015 to September 30, 2015; and (b) the Plaintiff.

1. On January 14, 2008, the Plaintiff acquired a certificate of membership in the Gangnam-dong hotel operated by the Defendant for KRW 39 million. At the time of the above membership agreement, the Defendant agreed to pay the membership fee for five years and return the membership fee at the request of the members.

On June 2015, the Plaintiff requested the return of the membership fee by submitting the application for the withdrawal from the conference.

Therefore, the Defendant is obligated to pay to the Plaintiff the amount of KRW 39,00,000 and damages for delay calculated at the rate of 20% per annum from August 12, 2015 to September 30, 2015, which is the rate prescribed by the Act on Special Cases concerning the Promotion, etc. of Legal Proceedings, which is the delivery date of a copy of the instant complaint, as sought by the Plaintiff.
