A and B Co., Ltd. shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3,000,000, and a fine of KRW 1,500,000 on behalf of Defendant.

Punishment of the crime

Defendant B Co., Ltd. is a corporation engaged in the business of gathering earth, sand, and rock, and Defendant A is the representative of the above company.

A person who intends to operate a business generating dust which discharges fugitive dust shall install facilities to control fugitive dust or take necessary measures.

1. Defendant A did not take necessary measures to control fugitive dust by failing to operate sprinklers facilities, etc. while performing quarrying works from January 22, 2019 to March 25, 2019, when he/she performed quarrying works.

2. Defendant B, the representative of Defendant B Co., Ltd., did not take necessary measures to control fugitive dust with respect to the Defendant’s business as described in paragraph (1).

Defendant C Co., Ltd. is a corporation engaged in the business of gathering earth, sand, and rock, and Defendant A is the representative of the above company.

A person who intends to conduct a business generating dusts shall install facilities to control fugitive dust or take necessary measures, and shall take necessary measures to control fugitive dust, such as covering fugitives, in cases where he/she keeps stacks for not less than one day accordingly.

1. Defendant A did not take necessary measures to control fugitive dust, such as not covering a stack coverr, which is a facility to restrain fugitive dust, when he/she stored tin as a powder substance in the Ethy from the beginning of April 2019 to April 15, 2019.

2. The Defendant C did not take necessary measures to control fugitive dust in relation to the Defendant’s business, as set forth in paragraph (1).
