Punishment of the crime

The defendant is the representative of the C Co., Ltd. in Ulsan Metropolitan City Group B, who runs a construction business with 80 full-time workers.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within 14 days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Provided, That the date may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties in extenuating circumstances.

The Defendant is working from March 2, 2013 to April 14, 2013 at the foregoing workplace.

D's total wage of 4,656,320 won on March 2013 and April 2013 was not paid within 14 days from the date of retirement without agreement between the parties to the extension of the due date.
