Punishment of the crime

On December 7, 2016, the Defendant made a false statement to the effect that “The Defendant will send to the victim an object seeking to return money first by contact with the victim,” by accessing the Internet “China Country” website via a mobile phone at the Sung-si, Sung-si, B, and on the bulletin board posted by the victim C.”

However, the defendant sent to the victim

Inasmuch as the victim did not have any object, and was willing to use the money received from the victim for his/her own living expenses, etc., the victim, even if he/she received money from the victim, shall send the goods that the victim

there was no intention or ability to act.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, received KRW 170,00 from the victim to a new bank account (D) under the name of the Defendant for the same day on the same day, and by deceiving 33 victims over a total of 33 times from February 15, 2017, as shown in the list of crimes in the attached Table, and acquired the money by transfer from the victims totaling KRW 8,827,000 from the victims.
