Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 800,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

Despite the fact that a person who intends to convert a mountainous district in a forest shall do so with permission from the competent authorities, the defendant mobilized one excavation season on April 14, 2014 without obtaining permission from the competent authorities, and unlawfully converted a mountainous district with a view to installing a charnel grave with a size of 208 square meters from among Class B D forest land owned by Chungcheongnam-gun, Chungcheongnamcheon-gun, Chungcheongnam-do (representative C) and caused damage to the forest amounting to KRW 2,483,580.
