Based on its stated reasoning, the court below reversed the judgment of the first instance that acquitted the Defendants, and found them guilty, on the grounds that the Defendants jointly detained the victims.

Examining the reasoning in light of the evidence duly admitted, the lower court did not err in its judgment by either violating logical and empirical rules or by misapprehending the principle of trial-oriented and direct examination, the establishment of a co-principal, or by misapprehending the legal doctrine on the grounds for exclusion of illegality from arrest of flagrant offenders, contrary to what is alleged in the grounds of appeal.

Therefore, all appeals are dismissed. It is so decided as per Disposition by the assent of all participating Justices on the bench.
