A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a person who is engaged in the secondhand trading business in the so-called Seoul Seongdong-gu Seoul.

Any person who intends to operate rent-a-car business shall prepare a business plan and register it with Mayors/Do Governors.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, without registering a motor vehicle leasing business, paid a fixed amount of money to customers on the sales of a motor vehicle run by himself/herself, and prepared a motor vehicle leasing in his/her name or purchasing a vehicle in his/her own name, and tried to run a motor vehicle leasing business against those who are unable to lend or do not want to lend a motor vehicle in his/her own name.

On September 2017, the Defendant lent 103 vehicles to the lessee, as described in the attached crime list, from September 2017 to September 2018, 2017, 103 vehicles from around September 2017 to around September 2018, in the name of E, which was prepared as mentioned above, to receive rent of 2.5 million won per month from the D-ro in Seongdong-gu Seoul.

Accordingly, the defendant operated rent-a-car business without being registered with the competent Mayor/Do governor.
