A A shall be punished by a fine of 2.5 million won, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of 1.5 million won.

Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A is a person who controls the Gwangju Center head of multi-level marketing enterprise D in the third floor of the Seo-gu Seoul metropolitan building in Gwangju Metropolitan City and the members in the Gwangju metropolitan area. Defendant B is a person who manages the above multi-level marketing enterprise office with Defendant A as high-ranking member of the above multi-level marketing enterprise and the above multi-level marketing enterprise office.

From July 4, 2020 to July 29, 2020, the Gwangju Metropolitan City Mayor issued a two-stage collective prohibition order with the content of prohibiting at least 50 indoors, at least 10 out-of-door gatherings, meetings, events, etc. in the Gwangju metropolitan area, and publicly announced the above administrative orders through the Gwangju website and disaster and safety letters.

Despite the awareness of the contents of the above administrative order, the Defendants intended to invite members, such as door-to-door salesmen, and customers to hold a meeting such as product publicity, explanation, etc. in order to operate the pertinent multi-level marketing business.

On July 15, 2020, around 15:30 on July 15, 2020, the Defendants held an annual meeting such as product promotion and explanation among 60 members, E, etc., which are members of the above Gwangju Center Office, and more than 60 members, such as the above E, used products within the above office and exchanged each other.

Accordingly, the Defendants violated the collective prohibition measures of Gwangju Metropolitan City Mayor in collusion with the above E, etc. to prevent Crorona 19 infectious diseases.
