Punishment of the crime

On August 24, 2018, the Defendant was sentenced to one year of imprisonment with prison labor at night in the Cheongju District Court for residential intrusion and larceny, etc., and completed the execution of the sentence in the Cheongju prison on January 9, 2019.

On July 12, 2019, the Defendant stated that “Around 17:33, 2019, the Defendant would make profits from an investment in an electronic currency. When sending the investment money to an internal account, he/she may gain profits from 60% after 3 days, which would be paid in money.”

However, even if the defendant received investment money from the victim, it was immediately intended to use it as the PC bank use cost, living expenses, etc., and there was no intention or ability to pay profits to the victim by making an investment.

Ultimately, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim as above, received 400,000 won from the victim to the M bank account in the name of the Defendant at around 18:22 on the same day, and acquired it by fraud.
