Defendant

A shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for a year and six months, and by imprisonment with prison labor for a period of eight months.

Punishment of the crime

1. On January 15, 2009, Defendant A sentenced six months to imprisonment with prison labor for a violation of the Punishment of Violences, etc. Act (joint conflict) in the Daejeon District Court on January 15, 2009, and completed the execution of the sentence in the Daejeon Prison on May 27, 2009.

On June 1, 2012, the Defendant violated the Juvenile Protection Act: (a) around the end of the Seo-gu, Daejeon; (b) by providing a singuer with a word “oman” to a singuer; (c) 7,000 won per head of 1 juvenile F, G (the age of 16), etc.; and (d) soliciting and arranging the said F and G to provide customers with entertainment by drinking alcohol with customers or singing or dancing; and (c) from around May 1, 2012 to July 20, 2012, the Defendant provided a juvenile with the above means to encourage them to provide entertainment by drinking alcohol with customers, singing or dancing with customers, etc. for the purpose of profit-making as described in the attached list of crimes (1).

(b) A person who intends to conduct domestic fee-charging job placement services in violation of the Employment Security Act shall register with the Governor of the Special Self-Governing Province or the head of Si/Gun

Nevertheless, the Defendant, without registering with the head of the competent Si/Gun/Gu, operated the “H news room” by providing multiple singings business operators with the word “o-sings” of KRW 7,00 per hour at the same time and place as described in the preceding paragraph.

2. Defendant B

A. On June 30, 2012, the Defendant violated the Juvenile Protection Act: (a) around 01:15, at the Seo-gu Seo-gu Daejeon, the Defendant introduced a juvenile F (the age of 16) by having the said F (the age of 16) receive 7,000 won as a word “nives” to a singingman; and (b) had the said F (the said F) drink with the customer in order to have the customer drink an entertainment with his or her singing or dancing, etc.; and (c) had the said F (the said F) arrange and arrange to have the customer drink an entertainment with his or her singing or dance.
