Punishment of the crime

No one shall apply for a visa or a visa issuance certificate, or mediate such application, to allow an alien to enter the Republic of Korea.

On March 2017, when the Defendant thought that he would be able to enter the Republic of Korea with a visa from the Republic of Korea from a person who was absent from his name (hereinafter referred to as “B”), the Defendant requested that the Defendant obtain a visa from the Republic of Korea from a person who was absent from his name (hereinafter referred to as “the name”) and issued a visa from the Republic of Korea on the pretext of a visa issuance to the person who was absent from his name.

Accordingly, on March 201 to May 5, 2017, the person who was unaware of name made a false communication to the effect that he/she visited D Co., Ltd. located in Kimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do to invite the Defendant to purchase the pelb box, and received the necessary documents, such as a letter of invitation to the Defendant and a business registration certificate, from D.

Accordingly, the defendant, in collusion with a name-free person, filed a false visa to allow a foreigner to enter the Republic of Korea, and at the same time interfered with legitimate execution of duties concerning visa issuance review by a public official in charge of visa issuance who works in the Korean consular missions in the United States of America by deceptive means
