Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is an employer who is a business operator who operates a steel structure manufacturing business using eight full-time workers as the representative of the I Co., Ltd., Ltd., I located in Hanam-gun H.

When a worker dies or retires, the employer shall pay the wages, compensations, and other money or valuables within fourteen days after the cause for such payment occurred.

Nevertheless, the Defendant was working in the said workplace from February 17, 2016 to May 31, 2016, and the amount of KRW 866,00 of the J’s retirement wages on May 2016 was not paid within 14 days from the date of retirement, which is the date on which the cause for payment occurred, without agreement between the parties on the extension of the payment period.
