Defendants shall be punished by imprisonment for up to eight months.

However, the above sentence shall be executed for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Defendants are the parents of victims E (n, F) and victims G (n, H).

No person shall abandon a child under his/her protection and supervision, or neglect the basic protection, rearing, medical treatment and education, including food, clothing and shelter.

Nevertheless, on September 24, 2012, the Defendants did not send the victims E to the school from January 13, 2016 without taking any measures, such as counseling with the teachers in charge or identifying the cause of refusal to attend school, on the grounds that the Defendants were in the first grade of I middle school (at that time 12 years old), and did not send the victims E to the elementary school from January 13, 2016, even though the victims G (at that time 6 years old) who were in the school age around March 2, 2013 (at that time 6 years old) were admitted to the elementary school and did not enter the elementary school from that time until January 13, 2016.

As a result, the Defendants conspired to neglect the education of the victims under their protection and supervision.
