Defendant shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one million won.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one million won shall be the one day.

Punishment of the crime

On February 27, 2015, the Defendant did not have the intent or ability to pay the taxi fee. On February 27, 2015, at around 03:40, the Defendant took a view that the victim B would normally pay the taxi fee after taking aboard the C taxi driven by the victim B. On February 27, 2015, the Defendant: (a) induced the victim; and (b) caused the victim to drive the taxi up to 42,560 won prior to the departure of Dongdaemun-gu Seoul Metropolitan City, the destination of which was 04:39 on the same day, by failing to pay the 42,560 won of the taxi fee.
