A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a social work personnel member who serves in the C University Gyeonggi Campus Administrative Support Department located in Ansan-gu, Mayang-si.

Social work personnel shall not desert from their service for at least eight days in total without justifiable grounds.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, from August 5, 2019 to June 3, 2020, absent from work without permission at the above C University for at least 8 days in total without justifiable grounds.

1. Application of Acts and subordinate statutes to the defendant's written accusation;

1. Subparagraph 1 of Article 89-2 of the relevant Act on Criminal facts (the point of escape from service);

The crime of this case on the grounds of sentencing under Article 62(1) of the Criminal Act is not less vulnerable to the defendant's escape from his service without any justifiable reason, but the defendant's service is recognized and faithfully performed. Thus, the punishment is determined as ordered.
