A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

Punishment of the crime

No person shall make a false statement in an epidemiological investigation conducted by the Director of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a Mayor/Do Governor, or the head of a Si/Gun/Gu, or intentionally omit or conceal any fact.

On May 2, 2020, the Defendant visited “C” and “D clubs” in Seoul Special Metropolitan City, Gwanak-gu around May 3, 2020. On May 3, 2020, the Defendant was investigated by an epidemiological investigation officer on his personal information, mobile lines, etc. around May 8, 2020 and around May 9, 2020, by making it clear that he was sexual minoritiess, and by making it impossible to teach a private teaching institute or teach extracurricular lessons, the Defendant was willing to conceal the facts by making a false statement to the epidemiological investigation officer.

【Criminal Facts】

1. The crime of May 8, 2020 (the part E of the epidemiological investigation officer) committed on May 18, 2020, the Defendant was subject to an epidemiological investigation from the above E, stating that “Around May 3, 2020, the Defendant 25, at the Incheon Michuhol-gu Public Health Center for the Public Health Center of the Incheon, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, or at the 19 preferential examination and treatment center E of the epidemiological investigation officer, dices with a conaa or 19 confirmations and alcohols in Seoul Special Metropolitan City. The Defendant was suspected of being infected with cona or infection, and was under a medical examination.”

After undergoing an epidemiological investigation as above, the Defendant responded to the above E that “There is no special occupation” to ask questions about what he is the occupation.

However, in fact, from March 2018, the Defendant was in office as a school lecturer in the “F Institute” located in Michuhol-gu Incheon, and was in office as a school lecturer from February 2020, the Defendant provided extracurricular lessons in Yeonsu-gu Incheon, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and was in office in the fourth grade of the G University’s official college.

Accordingly, the Defendant made a false statement in an epidemiological investigation conducted by the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City.

2. The crime committed on May 8, 2020 (H part of an epidemiological investigation officer) committed by the Defendant [the Defendant] a basic investigation conducted by E as described in the foregoing paragraph (1) and conducted a basic investigation conducted by E around 18:10 on the same day from H of the epidemiological investigation officer around May 3, 2020 to May 8, 2020.
