A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for two years.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant, along with husbands and two sons, recruited E, F, G, H, and I as organization members in Korea and the Philippines, and opened and operated the gambling site called “J” (hereinafter “instant gambling site”) with which gambling members deposit dividends to gambling members in accordance with the dividend rate if they run betting in a foreign stable, camping zone, and farming-gu game.

From December 7, 2011 to June 18, 2014, the Defendant, in collusion with the aforementioned D and management staff, operated the instant gambling site at a domestic and Switzerland location, and operated the instant gambling site from the “gambling members who conducted betting on the boarding platform of a foreign axis, camping district, or farming-gu game in the said site,” to the gambling account as shown in the attached Table of Crimes (A), received KRW 39,540,211,918 in total from the “gambling members who conducted betting on the boarding platform of the said site” to the gambling account as shown in the attached Table of Crimes (A), and deposited the betting amount with the betting amount as dividends, and deposited the remaining money to the gambling members who conducted betting, and paid the money as profits.

As a result, the Defendant, in collusion with the above D and its employees, issued sports betting tickets or similar things and provided property or financial benefits to persons who win at the betting place, and opened gambling places for profit.
