Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

Any person who takes over a registered motor vehicle shall file an application for the registration of transfer of motor vehicle ownership with the Mayor/Do Governor, as prescribed by Presidential Decree

On October 17, 2014, the Defendant paid KRW 14.5 million to the owner of a vehicle and received it by transfer after purchasing it.

Nevertheless, the defendant did not apply for the registration of the transfer of the ownership of the motor vehicle within 15 days after he/she acquired the above motor vehicle without justifiable grounds.
