A defendant shall be punished by a fine of 500,000 won.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The head of a disease control agency, a Mayor/Do Governor, or the head of a Si/Gun/Gu shall take measures to keep the heart of an infectious disease hospitalized or isolated at an appropriate place for a specific period in order to prevent the spread of the infectious disease upon the outbreak of the infectious disease, and no person shall violate such measures.

On August 13, 2020, the Defendant was notified that a person was isolated in the Defendant’s residence in Seoul, Nowon-gu, Seoul, from the public official in charge of the Seongbuk-gu Public Health Center around August 14, 2020 to August 27, 2020, on the ground that the Defendant was identified as a person who contacted Corro or 19 infectious disease B at the time of an in-depth epidemiological investigation of the Seongbuk-gu public health center and was infected or likely to be infected with cona or 19 infectious diseases. In addition, around August 15, 2020, the Defendant received from the public official in charge of the office of Nowon-gu, Seoul Special Metropolitan City, the initial monitoring of the above contents and the guidance related to the escape from isolation without permission.

Nevertheless, on August 19, 2020, the Defendant left the above isolation area for about 21 hours from around 21:00 to August 18:00, 202, on the ground of North Korean mountain mountain, and violated the measures of isolation.
