Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A is a person who operated the adult game hall from around April 2015 to July 31, 2016, with the trade name “F” from Jeju City E and 1st floor.

No game products-related business entity shall allow any person to gamble or perform other speculative acts using game water, or leave him/her to do so.

Nevertheless, the defendant set up 60 game machines, such as the time, place, and the navigation ballast, and offered them for the use by customers, and issued a customer card (IC card) with which the points obtained without verifying the identity, etc. of the customers if the points obtained through the game are more than 20,000, and made it possible for the persons holding the card to enter the cash equivalent to the points they want in the game machine within the points accumulated on the relevant card so that the points may be reusable, and the customers may trade the accumulated points.

As a result, the defendant let customers do gambling and other speculative acts by using game water, and let them do so.

2. Defendants B and C jointly committed a crime is a person who jointly operated an adult game room with the trade name from August 1, 2016 to February 17, 2017, namely, E and F from February 17, 2017.

No game products-related business entity shall allow any person to gamble or perform other speculative acts using game water, or leave him/her to do so.

Nevertheless, if the points obtained through the game are not less than 20,000 points by installing 60 game machines, such as the above date, place, the recreation ballast, etc., and the points obtained through the game are not less than 20,000 points, the defendant is issued with the customer card (IC card) in which the personal information of the customer is entered, and the person who holds the card visits, within the points accumulated on the relevant card.
