A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Upon receipt of a request from C that “the name of the operator of the game room is lent, as an employee, and as if he was found to have been the actual president at the time of detection,” the Defendant had been punished due to the suspected operation of the illegal game room, and accepted it.

C From early September 2013 to September 23, 2013, in the E-Gameland located in Daegu-gu, Daegu-gu, 2013, the 39 games for the “sea-to-sea-to-land” game not classified (influence to the “sea-to-land game”), from September 24, 2013 to September 16:10 of the same month, the 40 games for the “sea-to-land” without classified “sea-to-land” game (influence to the “sea-to-land game”) are additionally installed at the same place, and the Defendant, while working as an employee, provided a large number of customers with an unspecified number of customers to put 10,000 won in the game machine, had them enter 19,00 won in the game machine, and then, 500 won in the currency exchangeed to 500 won in the game screen, after deducting the points of 100 won in cash under the pre-determined rate.

Ultimately, in collusion with C, the Defendant used a machine that is likely to attract speculative spirit in such a manner as above, to exchange speculative acts giving financial benefits or losses to the users or points obtained from games according to the game outcome, and provided the classified game products for the use of customers.
