Defendant shall be punished by a fine of one million won.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to convert a mountainous district shall obtain permission from the Administrator of the Korea Forest Service, etc. according to classification of the type, area, etc. of the mountainous district

Nevertheless, around May 2012, the Defendant, without permission for conversion of mountainous districts, cut 15 m3 square meters of 159m2 in Gyeonggi-gu C Forest land and converted a mountainous district by means of cutting down 15m2 of shots and conducting flat work using shots.
