Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On September 2, 2016, the Defendant was sentenced to eight months of imprisonment with labor for a crime of violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes, which is a sex offense subject to the registration of personal information, in Seoul Southern District Court, and became a person subject to registration of personal information on September 10, 2016.

A person subject to registration of personal information shall submit personal information to the head of a police agency having jurisdiction over his/her domicile within 30 days from the date the conviction of a sex offense subject to the registration of personal information becomes final and conclusive, and where the basic personal information submitted as above is changed, he/she shall submit it to the head of a police agency having jurisdiction over his/her domicile within 20 days

Although the Defendant was released from Seoul Southern Prison on July 26, 2017, the Defendant was required to report the change of the actual place of residence from August 15, 2017, up to 20 days thereafter, the Defendant failed to submit the said changed information without justifiable grounds, in violation of the duty to submit the said changed information.
