Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,000,000.

Where the defendant does not pay the above fine, one day shall be 10.

Punishment of the crime

A person who intends to convert a mountainous district shall obtain permission from the Administrator of the Korea Forest Service, etc. for a specified purpose. The Defendant converted the use of a mountainous district into a mountainous district without permission from the competent authority for the purpose of planting trees on the forest land B located in Busan Geum-gu, which is designated as a mountainous district for public interest. From September 15, 2018 to September 20 of the same month, the Defendant used a concrete package equivalent to 200 square meters on the access road to the forest in question, cut trees into 20 square meters, and opened a forest road equivalent to 40 square meters without permission from the competent authority.
