Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

From August 2013, the defendant is operating an international marriage broker in the name of "D" in Seoul Jongno-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government Building 934 from August 2013.

A marriage broker shall not make a false or exaggerated indication or advertisement.

Around July 2, 2015, the Defendant, without having obtained permission for international marriage brokerage in Uzbekistan and registered as a related business entity, entered “D” office (E) on the company’s website (E) and advertised the false and exaggerated content as if he/she was a business entity permitted to engage in marriage brokerage in Uzbekistan by posting the company’s business registration certificate.
