A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

1. Around October 2012, the Defendant came to know “E” at a “D” club located outside the Philippines, and around that time, he kept the profits earned from the operation of the Internet gambling site from E in a financial account. The Defendant accepted the request by the Defendant upon receiving a cash withdrawal from Korea to the account designated by E or by delivering it to a specific person designated by E.

E은 2012. 10. 말경부터 2013. 4. 25.경까지 사이에 인터넷 도박사이트인‘F’를 개설하여 운영하면서, G으로 하여금 2013. 4. 25.경 위 사이트에 접속하여 판돈으로 70만 원을 H 명의의 새마을금고 계좌(I)로 입금한 뒤 속칭 ‘바카라’ 도박을 할 수 있도록 한 것을 비롯하여, 불특정 다수의 이용자들로 하여금 위 사이트에 접속하여 판돈을 H 명의의 위 새마을금고 계좌, J 명의의 하나은행 계좌(K)를 비롯한 여러 계좌에 입금한 뒤 속칭 ‘바카라’, ‘블랙잭’, ‘룰렛’ 등의 도박을 할 수 있도록 하여 수억 원의 수익을 올리는 방법으로 영리를 목적으로 도박을 개장하였다.

On or around the same month, the Defendant transferred KRW 25,000 from the above account under the name of Q bank.
