피고인은 ㈜캡스 보안요원으로 근무하던 중 2015. 12. 27. 16:00경 C으로부터 부산 동구 D에 있는 NH농협은행 E 지점 365일 자동화기기 코너 현금인출기에 설치된 인터폰으로 그곳에서 피해자 F이 통장 정리하며 놓아둔 통장과 상품권이 들어 있는 지갑을 습득하였다는 내용의 신고를 받았다.
