A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

Punishment of the crime

1. 2. A motor vehicle owner who violated the Guarantee of Automobile Accident Compensation Act shall subscribe to liability insurance or liability mutual aid, etc. to pay the amount prescribed by Presidential Decree in the event of loss of or damage to another's property due to the operation of a motor vehicle.
