1. The defendant shall be punished by a fine of 500,000 won;

2. If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

Any person who collects and transports wastes, such as Dong, vegetable residues, etc., or recycles such wastes by using them as composts on his/her own farmland, shall prepare facilities and equipment meeting the standards and report thereon to the Mayor/Do Governor.

Nevertheless, from around January 24, 2014 to around January 24, 2017, the Defendant recycled food waste collected from a nearby restaurant and used it as food feed. The Defendant, without reporting to the competent authorities in Busan-gun B, used approximately 100 square meters in the area of about 100 square meters.
