A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment became final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Anyone who intends to divert farmland shall obtain permission from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Nevertheless, the Defendant did not obtain permission on the diversion of farmland, from May 2, 2006 to January 2, 2015, used the aggregate of 2,462 square meters of land inside, Dong-si B and C outside the agriculture promotion area as a field yard for piling up processed stones produced in, and located in, the corporation he operated.

Accordingly, the Defendant diverted farmland outside the agricultural promotion area without permission to divert farmland.
