Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On August 23, 2012, the Defendant was convicted of violation of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles against Sexual Abuse (competence) and notified that he/she becomes a person subject to registration of personal information, and was discharged from prison on May 24, 2015 when he/she was living in prison.

If personal information, such as domicile and real place of residence, is changed pursuant to Article 43(3) of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes, a person whose judgment becomes final and conclusive is obligated to submit the changed personal information to the head of the police office having jurisdiction over his/her domicile within 20 days from the date of change

Nevertheless, the defendant violated the duty to submit personal information by failing to submit personal information to the head of the police agency having jurisdiction over his/her domicile within 20 days from the date of change despite the completion of his/her prison life and the change of his/her domicile or actual domicile.
