Reasons
Punishment of the crime
The defendant is the representative of D Co., Ltd. located in C, and is engaged in the manufacturing industry with 30 full-time workers.

1. The Defendant did not pay KRW 10,764,431, total amount of eight workers’ wages, including KRW 1,501,100, and retirement allowance of KRW 21,392,536, August 21, 2009, and KRW 21,392,536, as indicated in the attached Table of Crimes (1), within 14 days from the date of retirement without agreement on extension of the due date between the parties concerned.
2. When an employer intends to dismiss a worker, he/she shall give the worker an advance notice at least 30 days prior to such dismissal, and if he/she fails to give such advance notice by 30 days, he/she shall pay the ordinary wages for not less than
Nevertheless, on August 15, 2014, the Defendant dismissed workers F as of August 31, 2014 at the above workplace, and did not pay KRW 1,722,606 of the dismissal allowance.
When a worker retires, the employer of the 2015 Highest 1569 shall pay wages, compensations, and all other money and valuables within 14 days from the date of retirement unless the parties have agreed on the extension of the due date.
Nevertheless, the Defendant is working in the above workplace from November 1, 2004 to December 10, 2014.
G’s wage of KRW 17,119,229, as well as KRW 89,812,910 in total and KRW 93,632,680 in total and KRW 93,680 in the attached Table of Crimes (2) were not paid within 14 days from the date on which the cause for the payment occurred, without agreement between the parties to the extension of the due date.
