A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

160 million won shall be additionally collected from the defendant.

The above additional collection shall be levied on the defendant.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant, as the chief of the material management team of E Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “E”), a shipbuilding company, was in charge of ordering the purchase of steel scrap and the allocation of quantities from April 2005 to July 2013.

[2013 Highest 2481] On early 2009, the Defendant received an illegal solicitation from G head of the business division of F Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “F”) to the effect that “I will cover KRW 100 million for the supply of gas pipes entering the oil refining plant (H5907)” and ordered F to give the said gas pipe supply case.

In addition, in accordance with the aforementioned prior agreement, the Defendant sent 10 million won check to the F Office located in the Haman Kimhae-si, Franck Kim Jong-si, to G accompanied by the F Office, F, the representative director, for the return of 10 million won check to his company immediately after the receipt of 10 copies of the 10 million won check to the F Office, and issued 6 copies of the 10 million won check to the J. J. of the Republic of Korea, who is in charge of the supply of the above gas pipes, “The two copies shall be used as the bonus for width, and the rest two copies shall be L.C.)”, and the Defendant returned 4 copies of the 10 million won check to the J. of the Republic of Korea, and then received 10 million won check.

As a result, the Defendant acquired 60 million won in return for an illegal solicitation in relation to his duties as a person who administers another’s business.

[2013 Highest 2895] The Defendant, on early 2010, changed the supply of steel stuffs related to electric works, such as oil cables (e.g., electric cables) that produce and supply steel stuffs to E (hereinafter “K”) from L’s representative director L of K Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “K”), ordering “H6049, FPSO,” a large quantity of electric works, such as oil pipelines, to supply steel stuffs related to electric works.

The competition company is more likely to do so to us.
