[Defendant A] The defendant A shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

Punishment of the crime

1. Defendants A, a co-principal, was willing to operate an illegal game room by taking charge of the role of exercising overall control over the operation of the game room, including the building D in Ulsandong-gu and the operator of the second floor E, and Defendant B and Defendant C, as employees of each of the above E, by taking charge of the practical role of the operation of the game room, such as exchange.

No one shall arrange for exchange or exchange or re-purchase of tangible or intangible results obtained through the use of game products.

As above, from July 4, 2018 to September 4, 2018, Defendants conspired to set up a total of 80 game machine, such as 40 game machine in the above E from around July 4, 2018 to offer it to unspecified customers so that they can use it, and customers engaged in money exchange business by calculating the points they acquired through the above game machine as one won per point.

2. On September 4, 2018, Defendants A and B were willing to purchase and install a new game machine, even though they were subject to control as set forth in the foregoing paragraph 1, and to engage in the business of again illegal game resorts by taking charge of the role as set forth in the foregoing paragraph 1.

As above, from September 22, 2018 to February 19, 2019, Defendants conspired to install a total of 90 game machine, such as 30 games in the above E from around September 22, 2018 to provide unspecified customers with access to the said game machine so that they can use it, and customers engaged in money exchange business by calculating the points they acquired through the said game machine as one won per point.
